 Electric Lamp

Electric Lamp:  32” tall. Weight: 23 pounds. Attributable to Quaker City. The top globe is cut in a square checker-board of cross hatching with a small hobstar center encircled in flashed fans. The globes on the four silver arms are cut in circles of flashed fans with hobstar centers. The base is cut in alternating hobstars and flashed fans with small hobstar centers. The same motif is on the trunk of the lamp. A similar lamp is pictured in Louise Boggess’ Collecting American Brilliant Cut Glass. 1876-1916 pg. 231, and Pearson I, pg. 178.
