Hock Wines

Poppy, Green & Gold Hock Wines:

Left: 814” tall x 1½” top diameter x 3” base diameter. A floral motif is engraved around the base with the stem and leaves running from the base up to the bowl of this poppy colored hock wine.

Center: 9½” tall x 2 5/8” top diameter x 3” base diameter. The tall green hock wine is engraved in a floral motif around the base, winding around the stem and base with the larger flowers on the bowl. Believed to be Libbey.

Right: 8” tall x 2 3/8” top diameter x 2 7/8” base diameter. The gold wine with tiny swirls of etching with the floral motif outlined in gold was decorated by Honesdale Glass. The stem has a double ring at the top with an air twist.

From:  "Cooking with Class, Dining with Glass"  by the Lone Star Chapter of the American Cut Glass Association, Fig. 7.
