The Mountain States Chapter  

The Mountain States Chapter of ACGA has a total of 44 members from principally Colorado and New Mexico, but also from Wyoming, California, Kansas and Texas.  We welcome glass-lovers from any state. You must be a member of ACGA to belong to a Chapter.   Our Chapter is fortunate to include among it's membership many ACGA 'activists' who have held or do hold National ACGA offices, or who serve on National Committees. 

We all have in common a love of American Brilliant Cut Glass and we come together quarterly to celebrate our passion for it.  The Chapter normally meets in members' homes, but we also have a meeting at the ACGA National Convention.  At our Chapter meetings we almost always have a 'Show & Tell' where members bring glass with stories attached.  We also encourage members to bring glass for sale.  Frequently we will have an informational Program presented by a member or an invited speaker.  At a recent meeting in Albuquerque we had several members bring a fabulous collection of Libbey glass from their collections.  The pieces ran from plates to huge one-of-a-kind vases in many of the most collectible Libbey patterns, including Aztec, Kensington, Grand Prize, Marcella, Florence, etc.
